Welcome to Runway LLC ("Runway", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Runway, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Runway is a personal finance application that allows you to:

• Connect and view your financial accounts in one place
• Organize your finances on a visual canvas
• Track spending, income, and net worth
• Set and monitor financial goals

Runway is an informational tool only and does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or tax guidance.

3. Account Registration

To use Runway, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Financial Data and Third-Party Services

Runway uses Plaid Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By linking accounts:

• You authorize Plaid to access your financial data on your behalf
• You agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy
• You acknowledge that data accuracy depends on information provided by your financial institutions

We do not have access to your bank login credentials - these are handled securely by Plaid.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Runway for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Share your account with others
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

Runway and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Runway is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Financial data will be completely accurate or up-to-date
• The service will meet your specific requirements

Runway is not a financial advisor. Any decisions you make based on information in the app are your own responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runway shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
